80. DethWzrd – Fall On Deth Ears
Another producer album comes from DethWzrd, who released a short but very effective EP with five tracks and five mixes. You can expect names like Vic Spencer, Mooch, Asun Eastwood, Daniel Son, or CRIMEAPPLE. The names of the guests alone indicate that EP is a really high-quality project, and when you combine the imaginative productions by DethWzrd, cooked exactly to suit each of the artists, you get a very solid project.

79. Elzhi & Georgia Anne Muldrow – Zhigeist
Elzhi is one of the most talented rappers from Detroit. A veteran and member of the legendary group Slum Village joined his talents with Georgia Anne Muldrow, a singer and producer from California. The album sounds absolutely unique, and Elzhi once again proved to us that there is little to no competition for his talents. Would you like the song where the majority of words start with the letters P and C, or would you prefer Nefertiti, a song that celebrates black women?

78. Boldy James & Cuns – Be That As It May
Be That as It May is Boldy’s fourth album of the last year. The production was handled by the talented Cuns. Rapper was featured on a variety of different productions last year, so it is entirely up to you to find the sound that best suits you. We also must highlight Boldy’s efforts to bring unknown artists into the spotlight. Taj Mahal and Bo Skeet showed us their talents more than well on the track Quinine.

77. Domo Genesis & Evidence – Intros, Outros and Interludes
Domo Genesis and producer Evidence released their second joint project last year. Rapper from California and former Odd Future member released his debut album Genesis in 2016. We got really excited when this not very active MC with excellent lyrics connected with Evidence, whose melodies take a long time to get bored of.

76. Vic Spencer & Doc Da Mindbenda – Still Here
Vic Spencer knows how to create albums that will please pretty much everybody, and this one is definitely not an exception. During the quiet spaces on the album, the rapper comes in with his little funny sketches. If you already heard something by this rapper and liked it, you will not be disappointed with this one, and let’s not forget about Doc Da Mindbenda’s productions, which perfectly fit the rapper’s style and flow. After saying all that, we hope that this is not the last time we hear about the collaboration between these two.

75. Obijuan & Dylantheinfamous – GUANAHANI
This guy is crazy, we do not know how else we can describe Obijuan. Last year, the Nassau, Bahamas-based rapper released the albums HELVITI, SLANG CASINO, MYSTERY MERXHANT, METHUSELAH, BLAXK TUESDAY, and XYBERPHUNK: 2033 [PROTOTYPE]. His frequency of releases is fascinating. On GUANAHANI, he joins forces with Dylantheinfamous. Anticipate slimy, dirty beats and chilling lyrics. Obijuan is the only one who can do this.

74. AJ Suede – Oil On Canvas
AJ Suede, an artist from Seattle who always takes inspiration from religion and mysticism, definitely belongs in between last year’s MVPs. Oil On Canvas is interwoven with complex lyrics and worked out to the smallest details. AJ Suede produced the entire record himself.

73. Ransom & V DON – Chaos Is My Ladder
Last year, rapper Ransom released the great albums No Rest for the Wicked and This Life Made Me, but we dare to say that his newest album, Chaos Is My Ladder, produced by V DON, is his best work from last year. Ransom once again delivered honest, complex, very well-worked lyrics without any glorification. V DON brought perfect beats, which can bring some calm melodies but also bone-chilling loops.

72. Bloo Azul & Spanish Ran – Once In A Bloo
This is Spanish Ran’s third appearance on our list. The Bronx-based producer delivered exactly the beats that you would expect from him. On the earlier mentioned album, Dark Ties Of Mike Dowd, we could hear eerie, dirty productions; this project sounds different. Bloo Azul’s introspective lyrics show a lot of his emotions, which he is not afraid to share. Spanish Ran then delivered melodic beats full of amazing samples that beautifully complemented the rapper’s lyrics.

71. Meyhem Lauren & Daringer – Black Vladimir
Just a heads up: each track on this album is an absolute banger. Rapper Meyhem Lauren joined his talent with Daringer, a producer from Griselda Records. Album Black Vladimir has an unreasonably good pace, and as we already said, there is not a project from last year that has so many hits. Meyhem connects his luxury life with the one from the criminal underground, and Daringer brings the best productions of their kind. The sound of his piano will stick with you for a long time after listening.
