Before compiling the list, we listened again to all the albums that impressed us the most this year. We listened to both the most famous albums and the ones you sent us in DMs. Choosing only a hundred albums was really difficult. We could easily expand the list to two hundred projects, and they would still be absolutely top-notch albums. You’ll find both LPs and shorter projects in the list. When compiling the list, we had only one rule—each rapper can only have one album in the list, unless it is a collaboration with another rapper. This restriction does not apply to producers.
