80. Bad Tofu (Milc & Chuck Strangers) – Affordable Luxuries
Last year, the duo Bad Tofu, made up of Milc and Chuck Strangers, released Affordable Luxuries, an album that takes you through the world of where luxury is not about money but about mentality. Chuck Strangers on the beats, Milc behind the mic, and the two work together like two sides of the same coin—inseparable. Moreover, you won’t find any guests on the record, just pure alchemy between the two artists mentioned above. The production on the album is like a carefully stirred wok stir-fry—simple, but every detail makes sense. Chuck has produced a soundscape that goes from boom-bap to moody atmospheres where you can feel the influence of both coasts while still hearing that unmistakable 90s nostalgia. Milc’s lyrics, on the other hand, are very raw, authentic, and full of stories that pull you right into the streets and the whirlwind of the rapper’s life. The track Ben Davis is an example of what this album does best—blending street details with deeper themes. Milc raps with ease, but his words carry weight. Milk gives you stories that are somewhere on the edge between dream and reality. Chuck’s beats, meanwhile, create a mood that draws you into a world where rap becomes a tribute to an ordinary but worthwhile life. Affordable Luxuries is a record for those who love authentic stories without pretension. It’s about the balance between the mundane and the luxury found in the little things.
79. Jay Cinema & Chow – Alchemy
Jay Cinema is definitely no longer a rap newcomer. Over the past few years he has grown into one of the most exciting artists of our time, and Alchemy, his collaborative project with producer Chow, is his opus to date. There’s nothing like it when the title and cover perfectly capture the vibe of the record without giving too much away. Listening to this project is a truly magical experience; the individual beats transform, the beautiful samples engulf you, and Jay Cinema hypnotizes you with his introspective bars, awakening empathy and a whirlwind of strong emotions. Every second of the project exudes immense care, respect for other people, and love for music, which is the highest possible praise.
78. Flee Lord & Richard Milli – EURO MONEY
This is pure luxury for your ears! When Flee Lord and Richard Milli team up, you know it’s not going to be a relaxed rap. EURO MONEY is a project that breathes street respect and has a sound that will bring you back to the corner where only truth and hard work are dealt with. The record rides a pace that makes you want to stay on guard. Richard Milli’s production is raw yet elegant—a combination that draws you into a world where every line carries weight and no phrase is extra. From the very first bars, you can hear that this project has a clear vision: no compromises, no concessions, just pure energy. Track 640 is a clear example of this. Flee Lord struts around like a veteran in the streets who has seen it all and yet is as hungry as a newcomer. This artist understands the rules of the game, which is about loyalty, survival, and the fact that at the end of the day it’s just you against the world anyway. Guests on the record like Jay Nice, Eddie Kaine, and RIM add even more glamour to the record. Each has their moment, but none of them surpass Flee’s charisma. All the feats fit like precisely aimed punches, no unnecessary filler, just pure bars. EURO MONEY is not an album about flashy stuff; it’s about authenticity. Flee Lord raps with verve like his life depends on it, and you believe every word of it. If you’re looking for something that kicks your ass, motivates you, and makes you think at the same time, this project is for you. Unfortunately, no music video was released for the album, so we are attaching the video for the track SNAKES IN DISGUISE.
77. Papo2oo4 & Subjxct 5 – Mr. 3000
If you’re looking for a banger, an album that will fill you with determination, energy, and a good mood, we have a real delicacy for you. As rapper Papo2oo4 and producer Subjxct 5 announced in the title of their first album last year: We Don’t Miss. We could also include the aforementioned record in the list without hesitation, yet the artists released their second record last year: Mr. 3000 is bigger, more explosive, and more sophisticated in every way. Subjxct 5 has produced catchy productions that are reminiscent of hits from 50 Cent’s golden era yet have a unique modern twist. Papo2oo4 surfs the beats like Max B and proves that he is one of the most determined and unique rappers of today.
76. JPEGMAFIA – I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
Three years after LP!, JPEGMAFIA released his fifth solo album, I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU. If you love his music, we’re sure you’ve been listening to his latest project with excitement for the umpteenth time. Peggy continues to do what he does best, and his latest record is also full of avant-garde experimental rap. The soundscape of the album is very diverse; the track SIN MIEDO is a psychedelic blend of rock and electronic music, while on the track Exmilitary Peggy returns to the more strict rap sound of his debut studio album Black Ben Carson, sampling the legendary Tearz by Wu-Tang Clan and shooting his bars after the group Death Grips. Both anger and egocentrism ooze from the record; Peggy is once again the anti-hero who takes no shit. The record features guest appearances from Vince Staples, Denzel Curry, and others. One of the album’s highlights is the hypnotic track either on or off the drugs, on which Peggy reflects on his career and delves deep into his inner self.
75. Your Old Droog – Movie
Your Old Droog has made a name for himself as an extremely talented rapper with an endless pocket of punchlines and abstract rap. You can look forward to inventive bars on his album Movie, yet YOD took a step in a slightly different direction. With detailed storytelling and sensitive, introspective tracks, he describes his life and himself. On the album, you’ll learn about his loves, his dream of becoming a rapper, and his childhood in America when he couldn’t shake the label “immigrant”. One of the album’s highlights is the track Grandmother’s Lessons, where YOD raps about his family who died during World War II, as well as his grandmother, whose lessons influenced his life. The album was produced by the best in the business, such as Madlib, Conductor, Harry Fraud, Roper Williams, Wino Willy, Ohbliv, and more.
74. Blackchai & August Fanon – OTHERWISE A BLUR
OTHERWISE A BLUR is a record full of solidarity, empathy, and defiance against unjust systems riddled with colonialism, imperialism, and racism. blackchai has compelling lyrics and a charismatic voice and uses these tools to create a powerful spiritual rap. August Fanon has produced a diverse range of beats that carry eerie, almost spacey sounds. There is often a loud noise on the record that is reminiscent of the tuning of a radio or television broadcast. The listener is thus drawn into a vivid world and feels like they are listening to a broadcast of a forbidden station that proclaims solidarity and ignites the fires of rebellion in a dystopian future (which is frighteningly close to the present). OTHERWISE A BLUR is a powerful record that will resonate within you for a very long time.
73. Tha God Fahim – Dump Goat 2
Tha God Fahim delivers the follow-up to his iconic album Dump Goat with a relentless focus on authenticity and depth. The album is a thunderous ride of darkness and intellect that engulfs you from the first moment and doesn’t let go until the last note. Tha God Fahim uncompromisingly hurls his lyrics like lightning, revealing both inner struggles and relentless perseverance. His words are seasoned, his flows are flawless, and beats are dazzlingly diverse. The album is like a daily confrontation with his own demons, providing flashes of wisdom and strength through a dark and uncompromising sound. Unfortunately, no video was released for the album, so we’re attaching the video for the track Tha Coldest.
72. Teller Bank$ – Loose Leaves
If you like rap that cuts to the chase and doesn’t forget the depth, Teller Bank$ is serving up something special for you. His record, Loose Leaves, is an introspective account of a man who went through hell, and instead of retreating into himself, he turned that pain into art. What’s more, Teller did the entire project himself, from production to mix to master. This is a pure DIY masterpiece that smells of blood, sweat, and tears. The very first tracks pull you into his world where dreams often turn into nightmares. One of the highlights is Quivksand, where Teller shows how he struggles with his inner demons, the pressure of his surroundings, and also the need to “make it.” His voice sounds tired but determined, as if each verse is therapy. The production is dark, minimalistic, yet full of detail. Teller’s style makes you pay attention, as his flow intertwines with the beats so that sometimes you don’t know if you’re more affected by his voice or the music. Guests like AJ Suede and Ponderosa Moe only accentuate this, each bringing a bit of themselves, but none overpowering Teller’s vision. Unfortunately, no music video was released for the album, so we’re attaching the video for the track Hollywood.
71. Mr Slipz & Vitamin G – Prophet of Doom
This is UK rap in its purest form. Grime of the street, precise storytelling, and beats that smell of old school. Vitamin G delivers a gritty flow full of charisma and truth, while Mr. Slipz weaves instrumentals with a flair for samples and atmosphere. Prophet Of Doom isn’t just a name; it’s a mission, a record that portends a dark reality while honoring the craft of hip-hop. Feats from Jehst, Farma G, and Axel Holy add extra weight, but it’s clear who’s in charge. If you’re looking for the essence of the British underground, this record will take you straight to the core.
